Very artistic

Palms,
I really like this very artistic version of the eagle. I'm guessing that you used a combination of the high pass filter and unsharp mask to give the image some "pop" and to make it more visually powerful. The lighting is also very good in the service of accenting your work.

Beautiful work again, Palms. I love your attention to the details. The colors are great. Like Peter, I'd also like to see the rest.

Thank you all for your kind words i will post more as soon as i have done it

Petre after smudging i tend to use paint daubs and then aniso ( reducing opacity of this filter or use a mask) i do believe i picked this up from scotts beagle or renaissance man tut

as smudging dulls the colours i will play around with colour but on this and the other raptors i have smudged i used topaz adjust on a reduced opacity

I am not convinced yet that this has worked a few things where a struggle and getting a background that worked was hard

Very nice work, Palms..
In my view, both the background and foreground colors blend harmoniously..I like the soft dramatic tension displayed by the composition especially the eyes of both the handler and the bird and their juxtaposition..The image is dynamic and visually powerful..
