Journeyed.com is having a sale this week for CS3 at 289.00 and as a bonus I got PainterX for an additional 49.00 I know the CS3 was agreat deal but how is the painterX ?

You have to be a student . My daughter works for me and does this in school so she fits right into the program.

Oh well done! A year or so ago I bought CS2 for $300 as a upgrade from photoshop elements, a limited time deal. Thats about the cheapest you can get it, and you got Painter as well!

Painter is THE software for artists in the same way that Photoshop is THE software for photographers and ....

It is supposed to be quite powerful, now you will need to take the painter courses at DAA or lvs on-line.
My plan is to take a painter course later this year and then get Painter X as a student myself.

Lynn they have alot of software. Check them out and keep in mind there are hidden extra discounts. You have to go to journeyed.com/select and look for your school. If it's there you get even more off. It seemed like every school in the world is on its list. If you have trouble send me a note via my fredjames.com contact page for quicker response.

Thank you Fred. I am in Canada, so its gets a little trickier to buy from the USA. Journeyed does have a Canadian site, but I'm not at any of those schools and my kids are still in high school.
DAA and LVS online are recognized schools by Corel, so I will be able to buy from Corel canada when I take the course later.
I have CS2 and would like CS3 but not ready to upgrade just yet. Definitely when CS4 comes out!

Anyway I am not desperate for any software just yet!
