I found the original photo of this elegant lady at DPR in August of 2006. Been savng it ever since with the notion of doing something with it.

Well, here's a smudge painting of it.

Nice smudge Marty although not sure the lady would like the wrinkles round the eye's :D :D they must of took some time !
One thing have you thought of a different background ? I think it would make all the difference

Thanks for your comments, Palms. Sorry I didn't respond sooner.
I guess I overdid the eye wrinkles. I considered them a main point of interest photographically -- but should have realized that she would probably have wanted them removed in the retouch.
I agree that a better BG would help.
