Here's another of my flower smudges that imitates the feel of some antique floral prints that I've seen.

C&C please.

Very nice! I'm not sure if I like the dark outline, but I'm sure that's part of the antique print. Jo

Great work Marty.. Like Jo, not sure if I like the outline, but it's probably supposed to be part of the image. the Zinnia reminds me of my childhood, and being itchy because they have little spikes on the stems (my parents used to grow them).. thanks for the memories ;)

Thank you for your kind comments. After reading Jo's and Angela's remarks about the dark outlines, I took another look and realized that my heavy hands had been at work again. So I revised the image (without doing a major redo) to eliminate the more offensive outlines. I think it's a lot better now. Hope you like.

Marty, I agree that this is much better now. Although I didn't feel the outline was offensive, I just didn't care for it. 8)

Thanks for taking another look and for saying nice things about the work.

Jo, I think I may have picked the wrong word to describe the outlines I removed. Maybe "offending" would have been a better choice than "offensive." I was just trying to identify the outlines that you and Angela had commented upon. Not a big deal, really, I know.
