Another of Fred James' true beauties.
AHB on the head scarf, then smudged into the image.
A little Topaz Simplify to make the smudged subject and her scarf look better together.
I know it's not a "pure" smudge, but I like the outcome anyway. :)

Marty I like the outcome as well, good combining of techniques.

mind you it has given me the idea that i have never tried a ahb from a smudge will have to look into that and see what happens :wink:

Marty, as far as i know a Smudge means finger painting, so are we really smudging ?
I thinks theres no set in stone Smudge stye but i understand what your saying and yes this is a more painted stye of smudge and it looks great, the way you mixed up the styes has come together very well..
