Very nice work on the hair,face and background. My hunch is that you masked in the facial texture and/or were extremely patient with a very small brush. Interesting portrait..

Many thanks


I used a rough brush at about 20 opacity and followed the lines to ensure they were kept.

I realised that in his portrait, Sir Alan would not look right without those lines of experience!...or just old age!!!
