Rare opportunity for me.................

Ann, my wife is uncomfortable behind and in front of a camera....

I managed to get this candid of her yesterday using telephoto lens.....

I then went for a smudge painting and came up with this....

Great smile,very nice combination of colors, terrific work on the eyeglasses,eyes and hair, and smooth portrait look...

Excellent work, Ray. The pose, the smile, the smudge work are all beautiful.

But I had trouble with coloring of the face (overly magenta), hair (blue cast) and hand (not in agreement with the face). So I tried some "fixes." Here's the result. I'm not completely satisfied with my work, but I think there's an improvement from the color standpoint.
