Rare opportunity for me.................

Postby RayGuselli on Sun Sep 27, 2009 11:19 am

Ann, my wife is uncomfortable behind and in front of a camera....

I managed to get this candid of her yesterday using telephoto lens.....

I then went for a smudge painting and came up with this....

Hope you like

Best wishes

Ray

Super work Ray, have you showed Anne yet? mind you it might be that she will confiscate your lens for being a tad sneaky ?

Excellent work, Ray. The pose, the smile, the smudge work are all beautiful.

But I had trouble with coloring of the face (overly magenta), hair (blue cast) and hand (not in agreement with the face). So I tried some "fixes." Here's the result. I'm not completely satisfied with my work, but I think there's an improvement from the color standpoint.

Best wishes as always,
Marty
