got this shot from the web and tried a smudge....

as always c&c appreciated....but hope it works ok

Nice one Ray, One thing though and not your smudging but the right eye as you look at the screen looks well weird ?

Beautiful work, Ray, and very painterly! I love it. Some of the details are extraordinary.
I agree with Palms' comment about the eye, though.

Thanks to all.....appreciate the feedback

Believe it or not, one eye is substantially larger than the other in the orignal and I left it as such.

Perhaps I should swap them and make them both almost uniform etc....may give that a try

Thanks for poitning it out.....I did wonder when I was smudging if I should fix it.

Hmm this one is a dilemma, do you fix or don't you ? i try to keep things as the photo, but if it just the angle that the photograph was taken i would try to fix, If the lad does have one eye different from the other i think i would leave alone
