I found the original image at stockvault.net (thanks to Palms for the reference to stockvault).
Painted the veil using a very small AHB. My working image was 3000 X 4580 pixels. So the veil work was VERY tedious. But, I think the result works.
Hope you like it.

Marty,
Terrific work! I can see where that veil would have required a lot of patience. Because you probably had to work with a small brush to master and keep intact the detail. Eyebrows are also very good-what brush at what opacity?I really like the black background for this subject and your thin frame is just a perfect outline to accent the girl's profile.
Very,very nice work!!!

Patre, thanks for taking the time and trouble to analyze my Prayer smudge. And thanks for your nice compliments.
For the eyebrows, I used the rough round bristle brush at 10 pixels and an opacity of 70 or 80% for the first pass, followed by 20 pixels at about 30% to blend and fill missed areas. But keep in mind that here, the main eyebrow encompassed an area of roughly 300 x 700 pixels on the working image -- and that therefore it would be proper to adjust the brush's size and/or opacity to account for different brow dimensions.

Thank you , Palms.
I'm always on the lookout for nice, hi-res, smudge-worthy images. So if you could suggest some sites at which I might find few of these jewels, I'd be eternally grateful

.
Best,
Marty

Marty, I forgot to mention that the eyebrows look fantasitic, remarkable also. That's one of the first things I always notice.

Thanks again, Nancy.
I always take a "time out" from the routine smudge work to spend time on the eyebrows. They take a little extra care and patience to follow closely the directions of the individual hairs -- to the extent that's possible to do -- with a rather small brush, as I descrbed in my response to Patre's "brush guestion."
